Break a Leg Theater Works is soaring to new heights with our upcoming production of Mary Poppins Jr., and WE WANT YOU to be a part of the magic!

It'll be "Practically Perfect" to twirl on a rooftop with a “Chim Chim Cheree” vibe, as we bring this beloved classic to life. We’re thrilled to have BAL staple and Broadway legend, Hamilton's Thayne Jasperson, returning as our choreographer! Get ready to sing and dance your way on a "Jolly Holiday" through London with original Thayne Jasperson choreo, created just for us 

Audition details:
 Video submissions due: June 1st
 Callbacks: June 7th & 8th at Inly School
 To Register for an audition: Fill out this audition form and submit your audition video (please sing a verse of a musical theater song) to info@breakalegtheater.com by May 1st. *All students will also have to register for the Mary Poppins Specialty Camp upon casting

This is no ordinary production — it’s a chance to be part of a magical world, where you’ll "Feed the Birds," learn a thing or two from the mysterious Mary Poppins, and fly high with us!

Audition and Registration Information:

Camp dates: August 11-15 & August 18-22

For students approximately 8yrs - 14yrs (younger students may be accepted on a case-by-case basis)

Some preliminary weekend rehearsals will take place in June and July. Students will be asked to list conflicts on their audition form; exact dates and time TBD. 

Monday dance intensives with guest broadway choreographer Thayne Jasperson on July 14 & Aug 4 (Thayne will also return for 1-3 days of camp)

Performance Dates: Saturday Aug 23 @ 1pm & 5pm, Sunday Aug 24 @1pm & 5pm

*Some roles may be double cast. Students will play their role 2 of 4 performances and perform in the ensemble on the alternate 2

All students will be cast in the production, but we do conduct auditions for role placement. To be considered for a specific role, students are required to submit an audition video by June 1st. Callbacks will take place on June 7th or 8th at Inly School.

Registration for the camp is required for all participants and must be completed through Inly School. Students may choose not to audition and still participate in the camp as part of the ensemble.

The camp typically runs from 8:30 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday, and the total cost is $1326.00.
