Join Break a Leg this summer for a two-week theater camp with a showcase performance of Cats: Youth Edition

Break a Leg Theater Works is thrilled to present a summer camp intensive ending in a streamlined performance of “Cats: Youth Edition”! This summer camp will be all things CATS as we bring these iconic characters to life in our signature BAL style. Students will audition for roles on the first day of camp and then embark on a 2 week intensive from July 15th-26th to put the whole musical together for a pop up performance on August 27th! You won’t want to miss the opportunity to work on this classic and iconic piece of musical theater!

Schedule

Auditions: First day of camp.

Audition Requirements: If auditioning for a speaking/singing role, come prepared to sing a verse of a song to a preselected karaoke track on the first morning of camp. Callback auditions will be held that afternoon; cast list goes out Monday night of camp.

Camp

• Monday-Thursday, July 15-18th: 9:00am-3:00pm (Location TBD)

• Friday July 19 and M-F July 22-26 (Location: Live Love Dance Studio located at 160 N Main St, N Carver MA)

Note: Students must enroll for both weeks

Dress Rehearsal & Performance:

Saturday July 27th @ The Woodward School in Quincy

Registration Info: 

• Recommended Ages: Students entering grades 4-9.
